Although Gleam has very limited features on the free plan, it is still worth using. We love the look of the Gleam's new design; via the frontend and it fairly easy to set up. We have not encountered any issues. It would be nice if the team could introduce a cheaper plan; perhaps for $20. That way the application would attract smaller businesses like ours.

I have been with this company since their early days, there is no other better competition platform. If there is an option for giveaways they offer it. Do not look any further, go with Gleam

Pretty cool, but wish there was more support at the free level. As a startup, I don't have a lot of funds for monthly services right now but still want to do normal things like grow my newsletter subscription to the few people who will participate. I feel like subscription levels should be centered around the number of users being reached or something...

App is not working. Tried creating a first competition with Instagram, Facebook and link entries. Says Facebook URL isn't valid, so I tried fixing it and that didn't work. Ended up removing the Facebook entries. Then saved my work and tried to publish and nothing happens. Just loads and then crashes. Also, setup isn't the clearest. Asks you to continue with Google or Apple, when you do, says you...

I had been persisting with trying to use this app on the free plan but after much consideration ended up going to the Pro plan. $49USD a month seemed manageable. I then got notification that they had authorised a $5000 a month spending limit on the app on my shopify. What the HELL? There is no way I would authorise that much spending limit on the app. This feels super scammy - i've since requested...

This app is a complete SCAM!!!! I signed up for the pro version which is a subscription charge of $49/mo. Then I get a bill for almost $200 USD for a month and it says on the bill "Up to $5000/mo of usage charges". I have NO idea how to set the maximum spend limit. I DO NOT want to be spending this much on this app. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

They keep downgrading the benefits to plans, AFTER you paid for them Originally you were able to list 20+ entry methods on the base tier, then they lowered it to 15, and NOW it is 10. AGAIN, AFTER YOU ALREADY PAID FOR IT.

Unfortunately this app just requires plan upgrade after plan upgrade in order to get any real use from it. The final straw for me was not being able to use competition hashtag entries unless I upgraded to an almost $400USD / month plan! Until you upgrade to the next plans from the last plans (all payable immediately) you won't really know easily, what you are in for.

Actually it is useless to my website. I installed it to post a giveaway, but it worked not well at all. It'll cost 158$ on my billing list.

Wasted $39 to try the app for 8 minutes to realize it wasn't going to work. Once you start building a contest you realize there are several paid upgrades you need to do almost anything. Purchased one upgrade, realized I needed two more, thought this app was a good free choice and then found it would cost over $150 a month to do what I need. Disappointed I just wasted $39
