So far so good. We have been having issues with bots crawling our website and causing issues with the traffic. This app has greatly reduced/removed these encounters. Support has been fast at responding and answering/providing clarity with settings. Trying out the Fake Order feature to see if it stops those pesky Cart Hijacking work around that card thieves are using to test out stolen cards.

The support team are great and replied very quickly. I had installed it but it wasn’t able to block the wave of bot traffic immediately and it took a couple of days. For context, we say a tidal wave of sessions landing on the same page but shopify didn’t categorise it in its own bot traffic. Would recommend.

We installed this app after having card testing attacks. It has been very beneficial and works great to help manage the security on our site. Customer service is very helpful as well.

We use MIDA to block storefront and checkout access from a few countries we don't sell to, plus TOR and proxy traffic. Setup took a few minutes, the country rules worked when we tested them, and the verified good bots list lets us keep Googlebot, Bingbot and AI crawlers allowed.

MIDA has the best customer service experience I have had with any app I've installed. I am currently using the free version

After installing this app the credit card testers started to slow down and then disappear. Gone Gone Gone! Thank goodness! These people were very helpful with the install as I am not that great with apps and they were wonderful. Lucinda

This business is so shaddy and unethical. In September, Mida emailed me an offer for a free lifetime pass, and I claimed it. Today the app is asking me for $9/month. I’d happily pay for a tool I use. What bothers me is a written promise being dropped without notice. When I contacted support, they asked me to prove the offer by providing my past chats, which the app doesn’t show. I found the origi...

I upgraded to MIDA’s paid plan to address fraudulent Shopify checkout orders. My public storefront is hosted on Replit and sends legitimate customers to Shopify checkout. During support, MIDA confirmed in writing that its Block Fake Order feature blocks visitors who access checkout without first visiting the Shopify storefront, and cannot distinguish legitimate Replit customers using that flow fr...

Poor app, poor support. Was given run around by Lilian who did nothing but cause confusion. App probably did what I needed it to (just simply block front end bot visitors who created customer accounts via Klaviyo subscription and then made an abandoned cart). I have to clean up hundreds of customers, klaviyo accounts and abandoned carts every day. A simple bot blocker would suffice. But Lilian...

Dont waste your time, it doesnt work, i had bots attack and setup the app for 24H and it doesnt work, support not answer at time, 20 min between message to message sadly...

**This app destroyed my SEO and cost me a month of sales.** MIDA's app embed injects "Fraud IP Blocker" text into the `` of every page. SEO crawlers read it as the meta description, replacing my carefully written product descriptions across 999 products. Google indexed "Fraud IP Blocker" as the snippet for my products in search results for an entire month. The result: a significant and measurabl...

We installed MIDA specifically to block a barrage of dodgy account registrations, and it has done the job brilliantly. No more fake accounts cluttering our website. A special shout-out to the support team, who were incredibly helpful.

— Books Kinokuniya Singapore

Easy to set up. You can allow all verified good bots and block suspicious crawlers or bots. It will be worth it if you try it

— Ψυχο-λόγος

We have been using Mida for a month or so now and it seems to help block most of the abandoned carts we were getting from bots. They go straight to checkout unfortunately which has made it a bit more difficult to block - but Mida has help alleviate the pain from them.
